FAQ’s

  • How do I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

    • We know weather doesn’t cooperate and clients get sick. You can reschedule your appointment as many times as needed up to an hour PRIOR to your session time using the link in the confirmation email you receive at booking. However, if you do not reschedule PRIOR to your session time, you will need to schedule and pay for a new appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us at least one hour PRIOR to your session time in order to receive a refund. Refunds will not be given if we aren’t contacted at least one hour PRIOR to your appointment.

  • What is the best time of day to shoot at The Farmhouse?

    • That depends on the type of lighting and aesthetic you as the photographer are looking for. As a photographer I have always been partial to early mornings and golden hour sunset sessions. However, we have so many shady wooded areas around the property that you can shoot in the middle of the day and get some gorgeous shots.

  • Can my clients bring their dog?

    • Yes, we love dogs! Please confirm with your clients that their dog(s) will be restrained at all times and that they will come prepared to clean up after them.

  • Can I bring my own props?

    • Yes, feel free to bring your own props. Please book enough time to set up and remove them so you aren’t interfering with another photographer’s session time.

  • Tell me more about booking your old Ford truck.

    • Our vintage farm truck is a great backdrop for photos. We will park it in a shady area for you and you can decorate it with whatever props you like. Some theme ideas are Spring Flower Truck, Summer Watermelons, Fall Pumpkins and the Christmas Truck is always a popular choice.

  • I have a fun idea for a session, but I might need your help.

    • We are always open to creative ideas and love working with photographers to bring their vision to life at our property if possible. Please reach out with any questions or ideas you have. We will do our best to make it happen!
